Krystal and Tai. 2 January 2021
Krystal and Tai are a military couple that I have been so fortunate to meet during our time at Fort Campbell. I first met Krystal when her husband was deployed, a difficult, but familiar experience for most military spouses. Since then, we have become close friends and have been able to share many of this past year's ups and downs together. I truly value our friendship and so when the opportunity came up to shoot her and her husband together, I got nervous! I wanted to deliver beautiful images they would love. I soon realized that when a couple genuinely likes each other, it makes my job so much easier!
We decided on doing a session with them both in their wedding attire since they didn't have professional photos from that special day. On the day of, it was really cloudy, but I'd like to say it adds a dreaminess to the pictures that we wouldn't have gotten otherwise. I had so much fun with this sweet couple--sharing all of my previously Googled dad jokes with Tai to get his smiles and seeing my friend all dolled up, looking simply gorgeous! Thank you two for trusting me with your memories.
